RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING
BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT,
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF HUD -6144, "REQUEST FOR CONCURRENCE
IN ACQUISITION PRICES"
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body
of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, believes that
it is now necessary to purchase Parcel No. 31 -1, LaSalle Park Project,
Ind. R-57; and,
it has reviewed the three separate appraisals for Parcel
No. 31.1; and
wREREAS, the proposed acquisition price for the parcel of real
estate identified as Parcel 31 -1, as shown on Form HUD -6144, dated
March Zl, 1968, is, in the opinion of the Commission, fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission hereby determines that Parcel No. 31 -1, in LaSalle Park be
acquired and that the filing with the Urban Renewal Administration of
Form 6144, dated March 21, 1968, for the said Parcel 31 -1 is
hereby approved.
