Chief Kline appeared before the Board and requested the Board to have the police barn fixedd for trans3is over the winter and the Board instructed Chief Klie to take aekre of fixing up police barn and to keep the expense down as low as possible and upon completion to present the bills to the Board of payment. Representative of the Standard Oil Company appeared before the Board and submi ted a plan for a drive in for their filling station at the corner of Michigan and Madison Street, and requested permission to make drive in across walk. The Plan of the Standard Oil Company was approved with the recomnmendatiox tkat the main drives be of concrete instea8 of cinders. Petition presented by H. Asir* for grade, curb and walk on Robinson Street and resolution ordered on same. Resolution ordered for sidewalk and curb on both sides except where sidewalks and curbs are necessary. Engineer filed the following statement tith bill of Citizens Homes Company for payment of street intersections in Studebaker Place Addition which _ was read and placed on file. October 4th.01921• Board of Public Works, South Bend, 'Indiana. Gentlemens- We have checked the number of yards of pavement, the number of sgWare feet in side walk, and -the number of lineal feet of curb listed in the attached bill and find them correct.
