Hearin(* had On resolution for grade, 'ourb and walk on Indiana 'Avenue from Walnut Street to Olive Street under.Improvement Resolution No.. 907, In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written -remonstrance, was filed. The Board after hearing all ppatties interested in said improvement decided to modify said resolution to read as follows:- Eliminate sidewalk and curb on entire south side -'of Indiana Avenue from Walnut Street to Olive Street, and the -Board being, fully advised in the premises decides that the benefits to ropperty liabel to be assessed for -said -mprovement are equal to the estimated cos of the same as reportedby the City Civil y ngineer and: thereupon takes final action on said resolution as modified and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and aPpr6Ved as modified. In the ,City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remonstraneesj were filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises decides that the benefits to property liable - to assessed for said improvement are equal to the,. estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said. I resolution. as Qriginally adopted and the same is hereby ub al things, ratified, confirmed } and approved. d Resolved further that notices be published.on the 3rd. day of Sept,, 1921 and on the loth. day of September 1921 in the South Bend News Times, a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday September 20th., 1921 The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Deferred hearing had on resolution der pavement on°Hine Street from Walnut Street to Studebaker Street, under Improvement Resolution Noe 902. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared but ho writtten remonstrance` filed. The Board after hearing all parties interested, decided to rescind said resolution: and hereby.'rescind all action on said resolution. Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Michigan Street from 40 feet north of the North Line or Fairview Avenue to South lihe of Donmoyer-Avenue, under Improve went Resolution No-. 906. In the City of South -Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators and petitioners appeared a d written remonstrance filed .August lath., 1921 considered, Henry Heiermann of.1716 South Michigan Street filed petitiof withdrawn his name off of remonstrance, same,allowed by the Board. R. R. Smith, Gen 1. Mgr. of the Chica o, South Bend & No,, Indiana Ry,, Company appeared and stated that this Company could not arrange for the paving between their tracks this Fall.. The Board after hearing all parties interested de erred all action on said resolution until Wednesday September '7th., 1921 at 7:15 P.M. Beard to- investigate, -matters. Hearing had on resolution for pavement on 4th. di,*ey west of Lafayette Street from Marion Street to Navarre Street, and said alley lies between Lots, 561 and 57in Henrick's & Grant's Addition and Lots 6 & 7 in Burrough's Sub -Division of Bank Out Lots 115. under Improvement Resolution No. 905. The Board decided to defer all action an said resolution until Wednes Wednesday September 7th. , 1921 at 7` 15 P.M. Deferred hearing had on Resolution for Vacation of alley runnin East and West'and lying between Lots 1-2-3.& A in Stover -Lon ley Addition , a1"se Vfetor`ia Street also Lafayette Street, under.Vacation Resolution No. 98. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, the Beard therefore sustain all former action taken, and declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in all things, r ratified, confirmed and approved.
