Installation:
• Installation is included and will be performed by Culligan. Culligan will provide equipment delivery and will set
equipment in place. Culligan will attach inlet, outlet and drain to supplied connections. Electrical service must
also be available for connection to equipment. A 3-way bypass will be installed with Sch 80, if copper is desired,
an additional amount is required. See me for a copper quote.
• Installation service may be arranged through Culligan. Please schedule installations 7 days in advance.
• Installation, as quoted, is scheduled during normal business hours (8 AM to 5 PM)
• Please contact me/us directly for more information.
• Delivery is 10 to 15 business days from date of P.O.
Start-uo and Training::
Start-up and training is available upon request.
Salt Delivery:
• The initial salt fill shall include 1400 pounds of salt delivered by Culligan to the job site.
• Culligan offers routine salt delivery. Our representative will deliver and load the required amount of manufacturer
recommended salt into the unit. Culligan will also perform a 10-point check of the unit each time salt is delivered.
Pricing varies with volume usage.
• Culligan can provide you scheduled salt delivery for $4.99 fee and 40 Ibs bags of salt for $9.95 each

• Product submittal documents, subject to specifying engineer approval, will be made available upon your request.

Performance Specifications
Specifications for CTM Water Softeners
Culligan commercial water softeners are designed to remove hardness minerals from water. In order to function properly,
some operational parameters must be followed. They include:
1. An operating water pressure between 35 and 125 psi (241-862 kPa). If water pressure is greater than 80 psi,
Culligan recommends following the IAPMO Uniform Plumbing code section 806.2 by installing a Pressure Regulating
Valve before the system. Operating on high presure for extended periods of time can increase the service frequency
of replacement parts. If water pressure can drop below the minimum water pressure, add a booster pump or operate
the pilot valve using compressed air to maintain a 35 psi (241 kPa) minimum operating pressure.
NOTE If an air compressor is used, it must be `oil free" and set at 10 psi greater than the maximum
static water pressure.
2. Operating temperature between 40' and 120°F or 4.4°-49°C.
3. Clear (non -turbid) water supplies (Less than 5 NTU).
4. Voltage of 120V, 50/60 Hz.

2The Suggested Progressive Flow Trip Point is simply a suggested flow rate at which point an additional tank will be
brought on line if facility flow demand meets this rate. The Culligan GBE Controller will not remove a tank brought on line
by attaining the Trip Point unless the flow is under the Trip Point amount for a 30-second period. In the event additional
units are not brought on line or off line when desired, simply adjust the programmed Trip Point. Refer to the revised GBE
Programming for Commercial Softeners and Filters (except for HFxN) Manual (P/N 01027295) for more information about
the Progressive Flow mode of operation.
