The Schematic Design alternatives were presented to the City on January 29, 2019. The City has requested that LFA prepare the selected preferred alternative to address the remedial efforts along the damaged project area. This supplemental is for the following: Prepare preliminary design documents and construction estimate for review by the city. Conduct a field review meeting with city staff to secure comments. Page 1 • Revise preliminary plans from city comments received. Develop a final plan submission that will include plans, special provisions, quantities, and a bid proposal sheet. Submit prepared documents for city review and receive comments. • Finalize plans, special revisions, and the proposal sheet as bidding documents for soliciting quotes from invited contractors. • Provide quote period services for answering questions and preparing any necessary addendums. All questions and answers shall be through city staff through said period. Attend a pre -bid meeting as may be requested by the city. Attend the pre -construction meeting with the city and successful contractor. • Provide construction phase services as may be required. Preliminary plans and construction estimate above shall be completed within 21 days from notice to proceed. After field check and city comments, the final plan submission shall be completed within 14 days. Quote packages shall be available for distribution by the city within 7 days from when final plan comments are received. Under Article 2 Section C2.0113 Compensation ADD the following to the original agreement: 4. A Lunp Sum (LSUM) amount of $11,200 for preliminary design documents, final plan submission, and bidding documents as described in the modification to the scope of services above. An hourly not to exceed (HNTE) budget amount of $2,500 for Quote Period and Construction Phase Services as described above.
