takes -final action on.said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby
in all things, ratified, 'Confirmed and'approved. .
Resolved further that notices be published on the 29th. day of
July 1921 and on the 5th, day of August 1921 in the South Bend Nevus Times a newspaper
of General Cirdulation in said City, stating that this City will receive bids for the.
construction of`sad improvement Vp to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday August 16th._ 1921. The
Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

to you, we neglected to include a bid on asphaltic concrete wearing surface 2" thick
which price would be 30eents per sq. yd.-less than our price on sheet asphalt, or
$3.00 per sq. yd. using Trinidad Asphalt and2.90per sq. yd ,using Mexiean,Asphalt,

SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO,, 904. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana, That it is deemed neeessory to improvezz Ewing Avennue,
from Miami Street to Ernsperger Street as follows, to -wit. --
Said avenue shall be
graded from property line -to property line to. the established grade, and cement
sidewalk and cement curb shall be constructed"on both sides of said Ewing Avenue

Street against construction of sewer on Queen Street. Same read -and placed on file.
Request that red light be placed at the railroad crossing at
the corner of Lawndale°Ave. and Vassar Avenue. Bealing reported that there should,
be an are light placed at the corner of Lawndale Avenue and Vassar Avenue. Place the
lamp post on the north"side of Vassar opposite the center of Lawndale Avenue. -Also
eve the Michigan Central R. R. plank the crossings the whole width of Vassar Ave.
