77777777 t , { Tuesday April 26th.2 1921. o Board met in regular session.,at 10s0G A.M. A 11 members present. Mr. Samuel Leepp'ers Abe Livingston, A. H. Heller Gee. Whellock Leo Birner, Geo. Bingham and Geo. Plafner appeared before the Board ln regard to the condition of South Mjchigan Streit, and`re quested the City to repair old macadam- ppavement out of City s Funds. The Board advised the men perepent that they could net le all made a new repair on:this street and p id for same out of General Fund of the City, bu that the would be willing to start a resolution to put In the pavement or nepair a l char a the pro ert owner F r same accordin t law. Mr. Lee er advised the Board t at this would We to long-ana this street me9de� a repair imme�iatel , then it eras agreed by the Board that if the Cou4ty Commissioners wanted to go in ani made the improve- ment as far as e<<,Clty is concerne and then send a statement of the City s portion and the same would be put �ap`to the.Common Council and ask for an appro riati0 and_if` the Council rants an a ppropriation the bill will be paid and this committee of men should appear beforN the Council for said appropriation. Mr. Wolf of the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Company appeared before the Board and asked permission to block off the north side of Portage A venue for the storage of dirt and material for repaving of tracks on Portage Avenue., Same was granted by the Beard.
