Bearing had on resolution for the Widening of Mishawaka Avenue at
Nineteenth Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 58. In the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance '
was filed: Attorney Floyd Jellison appeared representing Mr. & Mrs. Engle owners of
proprty to be taken and filed written remonstrance. The Board after due consideratio
deferred this hearing until Wednesday March 30th.., 1921 at 7:15 P.M,
Complaint made to the Board by J. B. Heiner 739 E. Bronson Street -
-about F. W. Keller filling in alley above grade. 'The.Board instructed the City
Engineer to investigate this matter. -
Hearin had on`reso'lution for the paving of Chestm,74S#.reet, from
Washington Avenue to the Lake Shore and. Michigan Southern Raiway,<_uncler Improvement
Resolution No 851. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Upon said hearing reiron-strators�appeared but no written remonstrance
f was. filled. And the -Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that thq
benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the
estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is.hereby
in all things, ratified, confirmed.and approved.
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 25th. day of March
1921 and on the lst. day of April 1921 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, a newspaper
or general circlation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for
the construction of -said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. April 12th., 1921 at 1-0:00
A.M. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Milton Street from Michigan
Street to Fellows Street and Fellows Street from the south line of Milton Street
running west ,to the °north°line'of Milton Street East and Milton Street from Fellows.
Street to the west line of Rush Street. under Improvement Resolution No. 852.

and deferred all action.on said resolution until final action by Ordinance efthe

Smith Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk Ry.
Eighth -Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Western Ry,
Nineth Street from Mishawaka Averne to G. T. Ry.
Tenth Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ryy.
Eleventh Street from Mishawaka A venue to G. T. Rye
Clifford Court from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ryy.
Seventeenth St. from Mishawaka Avenue to Gs T. Ry.
18th. Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ry.
Wall Street from Eighteenth Street to Sixth Street.
All action an above named petitions deferred until Wednesday
March 30th., 1921 at;7:15 P.M. until opinion from City Attorney is received.
The Board ordered the following amounts of money due the contractors
and held up on certain im rovements released':
