Gentlemen:-
We respectfully request that you grant us permission to locate our asphalt
plant on the following described premises.
This site. is located at the N. E. corner of Olive and Sample Street, immediately
south and abutting N. Y. C. R. R. tracks.
It consists of 274: ft. fronting on Sample Street, belon ing to N. Y. C R. R.'
and kits 22-23-24-25 of Gorse is third Addition of the City of Sout Bend,_which we have
leased for a period of five 5 ears.

Mr. Wolfe and Wilson of River Park met with the Board and
filed petitions for sewers on Wall Street, 11th. loth9th. 8th. and 6th. Steets
in River Park.. The Board deferred all action on said petitions and sent the following
communication to T. W. Slick, City Attorney,
The Board of Public Works is confronted with a petition for,sewers
In River Park on Wall , llth. loth. 9th. Sth., 6th. Streets and in referring this
matter to the Cityy Engineer he reported that it will be necessary to install a trunk sewer,,.
on 6th. Street. the area of assessment will include property already assessed for the
Mishawaka Avenue Trunk sewer. We would like to have an opinion from you to the effect`
of how the property already assessed for the Mishawaka Avenue•Trunk sewer can ben
re -assessed for the contemplated 6th. Street Trunk sewer, which includes a new drainage
territory. We woudid like zo have,a written opinion from ou to place on file in this
matter to takep up.with property owners on March 30th., 1521.

Permission granted to set one guy stub and anchor in alley south
of South Street between Columbia and Fellows Street on east side of the alley. .

Light ordered placed on corner' of Fassnacht Avenue and Studebaker,'
Street.
City Engineer took up matter with the Board of the Indiana'Bell
Telephone Company using the City Blue Printing machine. Same not granted by the Board,
Resolution ordered for pavement on Harris Street from Division
Street to the Grand Trunk Western Ry. Company right of way.
Petition received for a light on the corner of Wayne Street and Wa
Francis Street, same referred to Beaning for report.

STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO.: 855,
Be; It Resolved by the Beard of Public Works. of the City of South Bend,
St. Je•seph County, State of Indiana, that it>is desired 'and deemed necessary to improve
Notre Dame Avenue from Jefferson Boulevard to the St. Joseph River, as follows, to -wit:
Said Avenue shall be raded and the roadwaiy thereof shall be paved; and also
the roadway of certain portions 9f the streets and alleys which enter or intersect
