Clerk instructed to et list of phones that are illegal under ruling of Bd. of Acets. Get Ordinance to cover all phones need. February 28th., 19210 Board of Public Works, South Bead, Indiana. Gentlemen: - Exception has been taken by State Board -of Accounts in regard to paying out of City funds, for telephones in homes of Officers and Employes of the City. An appropriation by ordinance covering the payment and installation of these, phones should be made by the Council, also all phones not absolutely necessary for the proper conducting of the City's business should not be allowed. I would thank you to give this matter your earliest attention and present an ordinance to the Council Appropriating the necessary funds -and -approval of the inst&114- ti'on of telephones.
