Board met in regular sessfo at 10:00 A.M.' All members present.
Bill of the White ConstructilpitCompany for work on manholes on
Wayne Street for the Indiana Bell Tel. Co. taken -up with the Board and the,Board
ordered McDonald of the White Construction Company and Mr. Conrow of,the Bell Tel.
Company to appear Tuesday February 22nd. 1921 at 10:00 A.M. before the Board
The Board instructed elrk to sent cards to property owners on
Chestnuts Street, Milton Street, Sorin, Street,and Dayton Street to come to an informal
hearing on petitions on file in this Office, date of said hearing to be Wednesday
February'23rd., 1921 at 7:15 P.M.
The following resolution adopted by the'Board.

Resolved by the Board of Public`Works of the City of South Bend,
Indiana: That.the following described property be apppaopriated for the use of said
city: Beginning at the southeast corn r of lot No. ff First Addition to Riverdale;
thence.,xorth on the east line of said Lot 1 Sxiteen (116) feet; thence southwesterly
to a point on the south line of said lot 1 eighty-three (83) feet west of the.southeat
F corner of said lot 1. Thence east eighty-three (83) feet t the place of beginning. -
'Owned by Iva U. Engle.
1. Thefollowing described property ma� be injuriously or beneficaliy
r. affected by such appropriation:
Lot No. 1. First Addition to Riverdale owned by Iva U. Engle
Also all the lots, and parcels of lots, land and parcels of land, lying within the
following described lines, to -wit:-
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Vine Street
and the west line of Nineteenth Street; thence north.on the _west line of Nineteenth
Street to the such line of Wall Street; thence west on the south line of Wall Street
to the east line of the lst. alley west of Nineteenth Street; thence south on the
east line of said alley to the south line *f the first alley north of Mishawaka Avenue
thence west on the south line of said alley to the east line of Seventeenth Street
thence south on the east line of Seventeeht Street to the north line of the first all}

E r Petition for light on Nursery Court. Same reported on by Pole and
Wire Inspector as follows: -
Recommend there be a 100 C. P. light placed at:this Court
when you have electric lights in this location.
Representatives of the Municipal Traffic Post Company of Portland
Indiana took up the matter of placing traffic posts on different intersections on
streets in the City. Mayor F. R. Carson present and advised representatives of.
this Company to seee the Park Board and Safety Board about the placing of said
posts also. Meeting set for 10:00 A.M. Thursday February lath., 1921.

Central,R, R Company crossing.

Remonstrance filed against sidewalk on 12th. Street. Same read
and placed 'on file .
Remonstrance filed against sidewalk on Neddo Court. Same read aid
placed on. file.
Board orderedaretolution prepared for curb and walk on Hastings
Street from Clifford Court to first alley west of 6th.9 Street.
Communication received from the Warner Construction Company in regard
to building pumping stations, Same re1e.,rred to the Water Department.
