Wednesday January 12th.9 1921
Board met in regular session at -70415 P.M. All members present.
Deferred hearing had on assessment roll and (final estimate for
Trunk sewer on Division Street from Meade Street to Chicago Street, under'Improvement
Resolution No. 740. oIn the City of South Bend, Indiana,
In.`the above matter Councilmen Bailey, Oljniesak, Kush and
W , �aiewski present and Attorney Mknerny reptozentint► the pr rre-rty holders: The
T tte`r _ Sa el Robinson and Harr Bras agreein to assume indirect assessments on,
lc n►t dlread. assessed and the Ounci� agreed 6 allow some`.money to reduce the
assessments on some lots, was all discussed. The Board after hearing all parties
interested deferred this hearing until Wednesday January 19th., 1921 at 7:15 P.I.

In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remon-
strance was received from Mrs.. Lura Edgeworth in re and to amount of assessment
Mt. Woolman appeared and verbally complained about the taking of sand and gravel out of
the street. The Board after due consideration decided to defer all .action on said

In the above matter remons.trators.ap eared but no written remonstrane
was filed. The Board therefore filed that the property assessed in said roll filed
December 14th. 1920 is benefitted in this amount of assessments as shown on said roll,,,.

South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter Engineer for the Michigan Central Railway Cc
appeared before the 'Board in regard to assessment, but no written remonstrance was filed
The -Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll fildd December 22nd.
1920 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll and the,Board
further find that the assessment roll filed December 22nd. 1920 and tie final -estimate
Allowed December 22nd. 1920 should be and the same are hereby in all thing , ratified,
confirmed and :approved.

in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.

Pavement on North Michiggan Street from North Shore Drive to Wakewa Avenue, under
Improvement Resolution No. 804. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remon-
strance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll
filed December 21st. 1920 is benefitted in the amount of assessment's as shown on said
roll, and the Board Further find that the assessment roll filed December 21st.,'1920
:and the final estimate allowed December 21st., 1920 should be and the same are hereby
-in all things, ratified, confirmed aad approved.

and walk on Chapin Street from Indian% Avenue to Oliver Street (now Bruce Streets
under Improvement Resolution No. 745, IN the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and objected.to assess-
ment being confirmed as curbing wag d4teeted put in by contractors. No written remon-
strance was filed. The Board conjUued said hearing until January 19th., 1921 at
7:15 P.M,

Controller to instructed to,hold up the sum of J100,Ay until the necessary repairs.are made
to the pavement.

in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matterL remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrance
was filed. The Board deferred hearing until Wednesday January 19th., 1921 at 7:15 P.M-..
Clerk instructed to have D. C. La, ton Street Commissioner and J. W. Fites, Deputy Street
Commissioner look up the number o inlets at Corby and Stanfield Street.
Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for grade, curb and walk'
on, Catalpa Avenue from Indiana Avenue to Oliver Street, under Improvement Resolution
No. 746. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators pppeared but no written remonstrance
eras filed. The Board deferred all hearing on said roll until Wednesday January 19th.

and the Board er her find that the assessment roll filed December 21st 1920 and the final
estimate allowed December 21st. 1920 should be and the same are hereby in all things'
ratified, confirmed and approved.
