WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend has entered into negotiations -`with the'Grand Trunk Railway Company$- with a view of removing the tracks from West Division Street, and WHEREAS,, the Grand Trunk Railway Company has made a proposal to the Bow_ -of Public Works offeria to remove the tracks from West Division Street, and elevating ton the Condit on that the City of South Bend ay to'the Grand Trunk Railway„Compa he same, the sum of Three Hundred Ninety -One Thousand Dollars (�391.000.00) and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend must have the authority from the Legislature, in order to c -Out this proposal. ` THEREFORE, befit resolved,by the Members of the South Bend Real Estate Board that it is the sense of this Board that -it will be to the ¢dvanta a QQf the City of South Bend to consider,favorably the Grand Trunk Railway Company s_proposal and that we urge the.
