RESOLUTION DETERMINING COMMISSION
POLICY IN SELECTION OF CONTRACTORS
WHEREAS, the Commission has adopted certain policies
concerning the selection of Contractors for services to be
performed for the Commission which the Commission now desires
to clarify as to its position therein,
BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the declared policy of
the Commission to select all Contractors for services to
be performed for the Commission without discrimination on
the basis of race, color or national origin.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in selecting Contractors
for services to be performed for the Commission that the
Commission shall not require membership by a Contractor
in any technical or professional organization that pursues
discriminatory practices.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in selecting Contractors
for services to be performed, that the Commission shall not
require membership by the Contractor in any technical or
professional organization that conditions eligibility for
memb rship upon affiliation with any-other organization
that discriminates on the basis of race, color or national
origin.
