RESOLUTION DEDICATING STREETS
AND UTILITY AND CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENTS IN PROJECT NO. IND.
R -29
WHEREAS, the Commission is desirous of dedicating
certain streets and utility and construction easements
pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan of Project No. Ind.
R-29, commonly known as the Chapin Street Project,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the South Bend Re-
development Commission of the City of South Bend, Depart-
ment of Redevelopment, hereby dedicates streets located in
the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, for use
of the public for street purposes, as more particularly
des ribed in Exhibits A, B and C immediately attached to
thi Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Commission does here-
by urther grant and dedicate easements for the use of
pub is utilities for installation and maintenance of water
and sewer mains, underground electric ducts, cables and
lin s, and pedestrian overpass, as more particularly des -
cr' ed in Exhibits D, E and F immediately attached to this
Res lution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the President and Secretary
are hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents for
the dedication of such streets and easements and to cause the
same to be filed with the Board of Public Works and Safety of
the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Adopted this 4th day of May, 1967.
