RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID
FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57
WHEREAS, Anderson Jones has submitted a written offer meeting
e approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred
as No. 12 -9C, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined
t at the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved
disposal program for this area; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper
p sesses the qualifications and financial resources necessary to
acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the offer of $1,125.00 by Anderson Jones is satis-
factory and is not less than the offering price of the Commission
f (r uses in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering
p ice was submitted to and approved by the Department of Housing
a d Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts
e offer of Anderson Jones to acquire at a price of $1,125.00 and
develop the designated Disposition Parcel 12 -9C which is known
d described as follows:
The South 34 feet of Lot 46 and Lots 47 and 48 in
the recorded Plat of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in
the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10. Township 37 North,
Range 2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
A opted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com-
m ssion held September 18, 1970 at the office of the Commission,
R om 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South
Bind, Indiana 46601.
