Dear Sir
Your communication of April 16th. , addressed to Dederal Manager Mr. Frank
H. Alfred Detroit has been referred to me, and upon getting in communication with Mr.
Howard G. Kelley, President of the Grand Trunk Railway System, I am Informed that he
wIll not be able to attend the meeting to be held before the Department of Public Work
on April 29th. ,
Under the circumstances, there would be no advantage gained by.my
attending the meeting in as much as any work that might be propaaed will have to be
approved by the Corporation, who would also be required to assume the expense incident
to any improvement.
Yours truly,
