Animal Control Commission Members Present: Pam Wesolowski, Lynne Losecco, Dr. Mariah Covey
and Barb Leavell
City Staff Present: Jenn Gobel -SBACC Shelter Manager, Tom Panowicz-Attorney
for SBACC, Tracy Skibbins-Director of Code Enforcement,
Jamie Morgan -Mayor's Office, and Dani Campbell Weiss -
Commission Attorney
1. The meeting was called to order by Dr. Mariah Covey at 1735 hours.
2. Minutes from February 2019 were read.
A. Motion to accept the minutes was made by PamWesolowski and seconded by Dr. M. Covey.
3. February 2019 numbers were presented by Jenn Gobel.
4. Old business was discussed.
A. An update regarding the Sparda case, judge to dismiss now just waiting for due process.
B. A revised ordinance was handed out the board, who will review everything and discuss it at April's
meeting.
5. New Business was discussed.
A. Indiana Law updates were discussed. This will now be added to the agenda.
B. April's meeting will have Ron O'Conner coming in to speak to the board regarding Fund 217
C. It was discussed that a time limit of 2 minutes given when citizens speak during privilege of the floor.
6. Discussion of the next meeting date.
A. Next board meeting is scheduled for April 4, 2019 at 1800 hours.
7. Privilege of the floor was given. But no citizens spoke.
