AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN
DEPARTMENTAL AND ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS IN 2019 OF $200,000
FROM CONSOLIDATED BUILDING FUND (#600), $1,715,669 FROM WATER
WORKS DEBT SERVICE (#625), AND ($600,000) FROM STORM SEWER FUND
(#667).
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
The Common Council passed the City's 2019 operating and capital budgets in
2018 (Ordinance#10616-18 passed on October 8, 2018), which included expenditures for
various City enterprise operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for
operational expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its
citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
Section I. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2019 and
set apart within the following designated funds for operational expenses as follows:

Consolidated Building Fund(#600) $200,000
Water Works Debt Service (#625) 1,715,669
Storm Sewer Fund (#667) (600,000)
TOTAL $1,315,669
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the Common Council and approval of th:o"ayor.
