On February 12, 2019, the Board of Public Works opened and read bids for the above project.
One bid was received for Division C in the amount of $149,000.00 from Precision Wall Systems,
Inc. Upon review of the bid package, it was determined the Contractor included items beyond the
intended scope of the project and did not adhere to the specifications, and thus the bidder cannot
be deemed responsive.
As such, I recommend rejecting Precision Wall System's bid. The architectural details regarding
the composite wall sections will be redesigned into other applicable wall elements; this project will
not be re -bid.

Dear Mr. Mroz:
The Board of Public Works, at its meeting held on March 26, 2019, approved the rejection of
the sole bid for the above referenced project due to being non -responsive. The project engineer
stated items were included beyond the intended scope of the project and did not adhere to the
specifications.
