RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN
THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57
Richard D. Thomas has submitted a written offer meeting the
minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as
& 8, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the
accepta ce of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program
for thi area; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the
qualifi ations and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the
land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and
WHEREAS, the offer of $175.00 by Richard D. Thomas is satisfactory and is
not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accordance
with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and
approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer
of Richard D. Thomas to acquire at a price of $175.00 and redevelop the
designated Disposition Parcel 14 -7 & 8 which is known and described as
follows:
Parcel No. 14 -7 & 8
Vacant Lot, South Camden St.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
held 21, 1971 at the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City
Buildink. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
