2010 –First version of strategy & first long-term emissions reduction
goals (Scope 1 & 2)
2015 –Laudato Si’ & Kick-off of comprehensive planning
September 20, 2016 –University of Notre Dame President Father

emissions by 50% per gross square foot
from 2005 levels.
Our long-range goal is to reduce
emissions by 83% from 2005 levels by
2050 and eventually become carbon
neutral.
