GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT
OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AMENDATORY
LOAN AND GRANT CONTRACT FOR PROJECT INDIANA R -66
;AS it is necessary and in the public interest that th City of

intended for residential use) or in the use or occupancy thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Local PU'blic Agency has elected to make relocation payments
in exces of $25,000, it as recognized that such payments are to be made in
accordan e with the regulations governing relocation payments; and the Local
Public A ency has, or will have, available local funds.

NOW,
GOVERNING
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT:
1. That the United States of America and the Secretary of Housing and
rban Development be, and they hereby are, assured of full com-
pliance by lthe Department of Redevelopment with regulations of
he Department of Housing and Urban Development effectuating
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and applicable Executive
Orders.
2. hat an application on behalf of the Department of Redevelopment
or a loan under Section 102(a) of said Title I in the amount of
30,528,214 and for a project capital grant, a relocation grant,
nd a Federal grant for the making of rehabilitation grants to
he full amount available for undertaking and financing the
iroject is hereby approved, and that the Executive Director is
ereby authorized and directed to execute and to file such appli-
ation with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, to
rovide such additional information and to furnish such documents
s may be required in behalf of said Department, and to act as
he authorized correspondent of the Department of Redevelopment.
