RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF
REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF HUD -6144, "RE-
QUEST FOR CONCURRENCE IN ACQUISITION PRICES," INDIANA R -66
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing 'Body of the
City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, believes that it is now
necessary to acquire by gift, parcel number 10 -1 - building only, plus demolition
cost, within the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Project, Indiana R -66; and
WHEREAS, it has reviewed the two separate appraisals for the said parcel; and
WHEREAS, the proposed acquisition price for the said parcel of real estate,
as shown on Form HUD -6144 dated June 16, 1972, is in the opinion of the Commission,
fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
hereby determines that parcel 10 -1 in the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Project
be acquired by gift or donation and that the filing with the Urban Renewal
Administration of Form HUD -6144, dated June 16, 1972, for the said parcels is
hereby approved.
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held
on June 16, 1972, in the Office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building,
227 West Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
