Subject: Property Maintenance — 402 South Lafayette (former Gates Toyota lot)

Attached to this memorandum is a proposal from Jackson Truck & Excavating to provide clean -up
and light demolition services at the Commission owned property at 402 S Lafayette which is
formerly the Gates Used Toyota Sales lot. The services requested include removal of the office
trailer, removal of fencing and two sign structures and removal of a couple poles encased in
concrete.
Once the clean -up is done, staff will begin the process to dispose of the parcel through the
disposition process.
The cost of the clean -up service is $5,000 and staff recommends this proposal.
