RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE RE-
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND
THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED (S) FOR THE TRANSFER
OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED
OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment
is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park
Project pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Project, Indiana R -57
adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by the Re-
solution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January 1966; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for
redevelopment by public or private agencies of all acquired land in
accordance with the provisions of said plan; and
WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal
to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that
said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable
Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the
it Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal Land with said
parcels being:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Re-
development that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment
is authorized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed (S)
for the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper; and
FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and
Quit Claim Deed (S) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby
authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed (S).
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission held on the 7th day of February, 1975, in the Office of the
Commission, Room 1200 County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard,
South Bend, Indiana.
