RESOLUTION NO. 441
RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHOR -
ZING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN PROJECT LOAN
NOTES FOR PROJECT, INDIANA R -57
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment has
just received approval on an amendatory contract for loan and
grant which has increased the loan authorization for this project
contract being dated January 24, 1973.
WHEREAS, Master Resolution #266 placed before and adopted by
the South Bend Redevelopment Commission on June 6, 1969 commonly
referred to as the Master Resolution authorized,the issuance
of loan requisition and loan notes by the Executive Director
from time to time as needed, and
WHEREAS, HUD has approved the issuance of Second Series 1973
project notes for this project, in the amount of $1,320,000
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission governing body of the City of South Bend Department
of Redevelopment that the issuance of Second Series 1973 project
notes for Project, Indiana R -57 is hereby approved and that the
advertisement of said notes on March 20, 1973 is hereby approved,
and the canvassing of bids for said project notes at 1:00 P.M
EST April 3, 1973 is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director is hereby
authorized and directed to prepare and submit all necessary documents
for the issuance of said loan notes, and that the President and
the Secretary of the Redevelopment Commission is hereby authorized
and directed to execute all documents necessary for the issuance
of said loan notes.
ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission, held on March 16, 1973 at the office of the Commission
located at 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard,
South Bend, Indiana.
