HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo. 0637 authorizing the preparation, execution, use and submission of proclaimer certificate in connection with the Monroe Sample Development AreaRESOLUTION NO. 637 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION, EXECUTION, USE AND SUBMISSION OF PROCLAIMER CERTIFICATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE MONROE- SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT AREA. WHEREAS, Indiana Code 18- 7 -7 -16 allows the Redevelopment Commission ( "Commission ") to acquire property in declared Redevelopment Areas and sets forth procedures for such acquisition to proceed; and WHEREAS, the Monroe - Sample Development Area is a declared Redevelopment Area under I.C. 18- 7 -7 -12 through 18- 7 -7 -15; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Members of the South Bend Redevelop- ment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelop- ment as follows: The following officials of the Department of Redevelopment are authorized to prepare, execute, and submit the following Proclaimer Certificates on behalf of the Commission: Executive Director, and /or Acting Executive Director, and /or Deputy Director, and /or Assistant Director, is authorized to prepare, execute and submit: 1. Proclaimer Certificate relative to redevelop- ment plan amendments, changes, or modifications. 2. Proclaimer Certificate relative to establishment of fair market value for property to be acquired. 3. Proclaimer Certificate relative to technical specifications in conformance with local stand- ards or standards necessary to support redevelop- ment objectives for property improvements. 4. Proclaimer Certificate relative to staff appraisal and re -use value of fragments of property. 5. Proclaimer Certificate relative to establishment of fair re -use value. Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission on April 16, 1981, in the Office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana.
