`,. RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING
BODY OF THE CITY-OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR
THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED (S)
FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE
DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is carry-
ing out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project pur-
suant to the Urban Renewal plan for the Project, Indiana R -57 adopted by the
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the
24th day of January, 1966 and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment
by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the pro-
visions of said plan; and
WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to
adevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said pro-
posal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the
State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing
the sale of Urban Renewal Land with said parcels being:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelop-
ment that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is auth-
- _,orized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement and a Quit Claim Deed (s) for
the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed redeveloper; and
FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commis-
sion is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Quit Claim
___9eed (s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to
ttest said Agreement and Deed (s).
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com-
mission held on the 17th day of October , 1980 , in the Office of the Commis-
sion, Room 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana.
