HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo. 0617 approving fair reuse value of land and approving the reviewing appraiser's report in the Downtown Urban Area in Project IN R-66Aw�e RESOLUTION NO. 617 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT CONMISSION GOVERNING BODY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND APPROVING FAIR REUSE VALUE OF LAND AND APPROVING THE REVIEWING APPRAISER'S REPORT IN THE DOWNTOWN URBAN AREA IN PROJECT IND. R -66 WHEREAS, the parcel of land listed on the attached Exhibit "A" has been appraised by two qualified, independent, professional real estate appraisers and a written and signed copy of the appraisal is contained in the Local Public Agency files; and WHEREAS, each such appraisal has been reviewed by Nicholas C. Jannatta $ Associates, LTD., and all corrections, revisions, or additions requested by such review have been duly made by the original appraiser, and WHEREAS, the reviewer has prepared a written report which indicates that the appraisals are complete and consistent in the factual data contained therein, comply with existing statutory and administrative requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and are acceptable for the determination of fair value. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department.of Redevelopment, that based upon such appraisals and the review thereof, the fair value for the reuse indicated of the parcel listed in Exhibit "A' attached hereto and made a part thereof is established as shown thereon and all documentation related to such deter- mination is contained in the Local Public Agency files. Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, held on the 20th day of June, 1980, in the Office of the Redevelopment Commission, Room 1200, County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT ATTEST: (SEAL) PROCLAIMER CERTIFICATE NUMBER 14 RELATIVE TO ESTABLISHMENT OF FAIR REUSE VALUE I, Carl Ellison, the duly appointed, qualified and Executive Director of Civil City of South Bend, Department of Rede- velopment, herein called the "Local Public Agency ", hereby certify that I have been authorized by Resolution No. 301, duly adopted by the Redevelopment Commission of the Local Public Agency at a regular meeting on July 17, 1970, as set forth in the minute book on file at Room 1200, County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601, to make the following certification and that the statements contained herein are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief: 1. The parcel listed in this proclaimer certificate has been appraised by at least two qualified, independent, professional real estate appraisers and written and signed copy of each such appraisal is contained in the Local Public Agency files. 2. Each such appraisal has been reviewed by Nicholas C. Jannatta & Associates, LTD., and all corrections, revisions, or additions requested by such reviews have been duly made by the original appraisers. 3. The reviewer has prepared a written report which indicates that the appraisals are complete and consistent in the factual data contained therein, comply with existing statutory and administrative requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop- ment and are acceptable for the determination of fair value. 4. Based upon such appraisals and the review thereof, the Local Public Agency on June 20, 1980, by motion, established the fair value, for the reuse indicated, of the parcel listed below within the Ind. R -66, Central Downtown Urban Renewal Area and all documenta- tion related to such determination is contained and readily available in the Local Public Agency files. See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part thereof. Any false statement made knowingly herein may subject the C-0 signed to civil penalties under Section 231 of Title 31 of the United States Code and, if such statements are made willfully and knowingly, to conviction for a felony under Section 1001 of Title 18 of the United States Code.
