RESOLUTION NO. 597
WHEREAS; the City of South Bend has entered into agreement
with First Bank and Trust Company and Rahn Properties II for the
development of Disposition Parcels #4 -1, 4 -31, and 4 -32, commonly
referred to as "the hole "; and
WHEREAS, this development reflects private sector dedication
to the revitalization of downtown South Bend; and
WHEREAS, Rahn Properties II has extended tremendous time
and effort on planning this project; and
WHEREAS, without its foresight and commitment to the City of
South Bend, the groundbreaking ceremonies taking place this
nineteenth day of October, 1979, would not have been possible;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Redevelopment Commission
of the City of South Bend does hereby adopt this Resolution of
Commendation and thanks to Rahn Properties II for its contribution to
the revitalization of downtown South Bend.
