RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND
AND THE EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER
OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED
OF IN THE CENTRAL DOWNTOWN PROJECT, INDIANA R -66.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment
is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the Central
Downtown Project pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for Project
No. Indiana R -66 adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, by Resolution No. 193 -68 on the 10th day of September,
1968, and;
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelop-
ment by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance
with the provisions of said plan; and
WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal
to redevelop certain parcels within the Central Downtown Project
and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all
applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regula-
tions and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal
land with said parcels being:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelop-
ment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Depart-
ment of Redevelopment that the Executive Director of the Department
of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement
and a Quitclaim Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said land to
the proposed redeveloper; and
FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission is authorized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement
IL and Quitclaim Deed(s) and that the Secretary of the Commission is
hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s).
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission held on May 4, 1979, in the office of the Commission,
Room 1200, County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard,
South Bend, Indiana 46601.
