ew A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION COMMENDING
KEVIN C. HORTON FOR MERITOROUS SERVICE
TO THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, a young Notre Dame graduate joined the
Redevelopment Department six years ago to begin a career of
public service; and
WHEREAS, this young man, Kevin C. Horton, distinguished
himself through dedicated service and assistance to the
community's economic development activities; and
WHEREAS, several small new businesses profited from his
assistance; and
WHEREAS, he steadfastly represented the interests of
the community and business development to the Business
Development Corporation, the Enterprise Zone, and the Chamber of
Commerce's Small Business Council; and
WHEREAS, after six years of dedicated service he is
leaving his position as Deputy Director to join the Holladay
Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend
Redevelopment Commission, governing body of the City of South
Bend's Department of Redevelopment, that the name of Kevin C.
Horton be engraved in the minutes of this meeting in commendation
of his diligent and dedicated efforts, and let it be known that
the Commission's good wishes go with him.
