141HEREAS, Patrick M. McMahon has served the City of South
Bend continuously since 1972, and has served as the Executive
Director of the South Bend Department of Redevelopment since
October 1, 1980; and
'v,'HEREAS, during his tenure as Executive Director of the
Department of Redevelopment, the City has taken great strides
toward achieving its goal of an improved quality of life for
all its citizens; and
WHEREAS, after nine years of loyal service and tireless
dedication, he is leaving his position in city government to
pursue a position of great responsibility to the South Bend
community;
[1014, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Rede-
velopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend,
Department of Redevelopment, that the name of
P'TRICIK M. hOIAHON
be engraved in the minutes of this meeting in commendation of
his diligent efforts, and let it also be known that the wishes
of all of us go with him for further enrichment and good fortune
in the years ahead.
