STUDEBAKER DRIVERS CLUB STARTS WEEKLONG
FESTIVAL IN SOUTH BEND
SOUTH BEND The Studebakers Drivers Club has traveled to the City of South Bend
to celebrate a weeklong gathering for car enthusiasts and South Bend residents.
The following events offer free admission with a $5 parking fee for the St. Joseph County
Fairgrounds:
Swap meet and cars on display will take place Monday thru Wednesday,July 30
to August 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds.
The car display location is 5117 S Ironwood Road.
Studebaker Day takes place Thursday,August 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the
St. Joseph County Fairgrounds. The car show location is 5117 S Ironwood Road.
Studebaker Parade starts at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds and ends in
downtown South Bend. The parade will take place Thursday,August 2 at 4:30
p.m. The parade route: Jackson to Miami,Miami to Ewing,Ewing to Michigan,
Michigan/St. Joseph to Colfax. (Parking Studebakers on Michigan between
Western and Colfax.)
Downtown Cruise-In will take place Thursday,August 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m. Studebakers will be on display along Michigan Street with entertainment by
the Studebaker Band,the Michiana Male Chorus and honoring Studebaker
employees on the College Football Hall of Fame Gridiron.
Join the Studebaker Drivers Club for a final celebration and an all-you-can-eat Polish
Dinner Buffet, entertainment by the Lost `n Found bluegrass band from Virginia, door
prizes including a 32"Flat screen TV, dancing and fun. Fun Night will take place
Thursday,August 2 at Century Center starting at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $20 per person.
