Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 632 for Pavement on Main Street from Broadway to Indiana Avenue, in the City of South Bend', Indiana. Upson said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance -was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the est 3mited cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there -- upon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further,, that notices be published on the 18th., day of April 1919 1 and `on the 25th. , day of April 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will receive bids°for`the constructioA of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. ,on the 6t'h., day of May 1919. Hear ing had Hearing had on Gravel Pavement on Dayton Street from Leer Street to the alley east of Clyde Street, under Improvement Resolution No 638. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared against a gravel pavement being put in and a written petition was filed requesting a modern pavement.. -,The Board after due consideration deferred hearing on -same until Wednesday May=�l4th. 1919. at 7:15 P..M. Hearing had.on Improvement Resolution No. 634 for pavement on Haney Avenue from Miami Street to Leer Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance was filed. • The Board` after due consideration decided to defer all action on same until Wednesday May l4th:,1919 at 7:15 P.M. Hearing had on Pavement on Leer Street from Calvert Street-.t e Ewing Avenue and Fax Street from Leer Street to Miami Street under Improvement Resolution No. 635.. - in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Remonstrators appeared and no further written remonstrance°filed other than--one-filed - Feb.28th., before -resolution was adopted against gavement on Leer Street. -A number of resident property owners appeared for impr cement. Hearing had on Pavement on Marine Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street, under Improvement Resolution No, 633. In the City of South Bond, Indiana.. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remon- strance was filed. The Board after dueconsideration decided to defer all action on same until Wedne sday May 14th. ,1919 at 7:15 P.M. 575 Pr ooerty ,owners r-es id ing can Smith'Street in River Park appeared before the Board and requested a water main be laid on Smith Street. The Board, advised these property owners to get a petition signed that they will agreed to connect wit.'-1 main, and if all, signed the Board would see that a main was placedin atiove men- t ioned street, Contract for wipe sewers on Monroe ,Street, River Avenue, ;Edgewater Drive and Arch Avenue in Edgewater Place Add it ion awarded to L. H. Webster. Complaint about pole in way of garage at 215 E. South Street The Board ordered the Indiana & Michigan Elea. Co. and the Homy Telephone Company remove this pole to the north about 18th., feet.
