South Bend, Indiana April 4th. 1919 - WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, did, on the 4th., day of April 1919 did adapt a preliminary resolution for the improvement of Monroe Street, Edgewater Drive,, River Avenue and Arch Ave. in Edgewater Place Add it ion in the City of South Bend, In by the con- struction of a sewer system. Also the construction of the necessary manholes, and inlets, water inlets, conduits, and resetting all manholes and inlets to the proper grade. And, be it further resolved and ordered that after the 20 day period has elapsed for the making of said connections by the property owners , a notice shall be published for two weeks, once each week, in the South Bend Tribune, a newspaper og general circulation published in said City, requesting bids from dontractors for .the making of such c onnect ions as have not been made by the property owners, and such notice shall fix a day not earlier than ten days after the first of such publications when bids shall be opened and a contract let for the doing of said work.
