Meeting held in Common Council chambers on accouht of largo crowd for office of Board. Hearing had on Improvement Resoluthn No. 612 for the pavement on the first allay east. of St. Louis Blvd. from La Salle Avenue to Madison Street, In the City of South Band, Indiana, Remonstrators appeared and written remonstrance filed March 18th.,1919 considered. The. Board after due consideration decided is defer all action on said resolution until Wednesday Apr1l .5 .91919 at 7:15 P.it. This being the date set for the deferred hearing on resolution for the paving of Birdsoll Street from Washington Avenue to LaPorte Avenue, under Improvement `Rea glut ion No.:609. In the q ty of South. Bend, IndIsns. Upon said hearing remonstrators -appeared but nv further remon- strance filed. The County Engineer proceeded with this work until' it was 1RUM1414-04 -to him by Mr:.PerlOy, thatthe property an which he was supposed to build:tbe bridge was Park property and that the park Board would not allow a bridge to be constructed there.
