Meetingheld in Common ,Couno it Chambers on account of large 'crowd of interested Property owners being presents. City Civil Engineer F. J.. Anderson present. Hearing bad on Improvement Res glut ion No. 618 for pipe sewer on Fellows Street frm lst. alley north of Dubail Avenue to a point 40 feet north of said alley, in the .City of South Band, Indiana. -IIpon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no .written remon- strance was filed. Wm. Studebaker property owner appeared and objected to manhole be ing . put in. The Board mod if ied said resolution to of lminate manhole from the north end of sewer. And the Board being Fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to ,property , Liable to be assessed for said improvements are .equal -to the estimatecost of the sage, as. reported by the O ity Civil Engineer, aid thereupon takes .Final- act ion on sa id resolut ion as mod if led, and -the same is hereby in all th ingo _mat if ied, c oaf irmed and approved. Bearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 616 for Pipe sewer on Jackson Street from Ford Street to a point 110 feet south of the south line of D iv is ion Street. In 'the, City of South Bend, Ind Iana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strances were filed. A written remon- strance was filed which remonstrance was over -ruled by the Board and remonstrators appeared in person. The preliminary resolution was mod if ied to ` retain the present curb. The Board `now find that the aggregate benefits will not equal the maximin esti�aated cost of such improvement as filed by the City CIVil.: ineer, The Board farther fold that the aggregate benefits that will accrue totheIproperty will equal 5-0% of the aggregate value.of the property -as assessed for taxation, exclusive of improvements -and -,exclusive ofhhe 'coot of street intersections. The Board after hearing all the interested roperty owners present, decided to -defer all action on said resolution untl Wednesday March 26th. , 1919 at 7:15 P-M The Board ordered that the remonstrance be referred b the City Engdeer to be checked up and a written report filed Wednesday March 26th.,1919 at 7015 P.M- 0 509 Sherman Avenue Indiana. In the City of South Bonds, Indian&. Resolved that as all legal notice by advertising said assessment roll for hearing was waived by H. A. Wood Realty Company by Harry A. Wod,, President. In original waiver filed July 2nd. 1918 and approved by the Board,, and It is further resolved that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office Inthe, City Hall on Wednesday March 26th.,, 1919 at 7:15 P.M.
