Beard met in special session at 4: 3a P.M. Mr. G. A. Ell iota,
absent. Mr. H. F. Rosa i&er Vice President, acting president.
Mr. Hwward Emmons of the Chamber of Commerce with Mr. Smit-Ii and
Mr. Cole -representatives of the American Express Company, requesting permission of.
the Board to erect ah� inexpensive temporary building at their present side at the
New York Central Railway Company depot , -appeared before the Board,' Mr. 'Nmm.O-Aa
explained to the Board that the `erection of this temporary building would relieve.

ments ments could be made for ;apb ent building. the Board advised the represent iaves
of. the American Company to Atubmit plans for thiir consideration, This was * reeeble
to the repeesentatives of the American Express Company and they -informed the Board
that they would submit plans within the next three weeks.
