Board met in special session at 10: 00 A.M. All members present.
The bill for $1, 999.30 for the repairing of the East La Salle
avenue sewer was considered by the Board and ordered paid and City Controller to be
not if ied to with -hold the payment of this amount of Bruno De Peape, C ontraetor until
sewer is satisfactory to the City Civil Engineer and the City Street Commissioner.
The following c ommunicat ion was ordered sent to all department
of the City Hall.
On and after January lst.1,1919 all,water used in the City Depart-
ments is under meter and will be paid for by the City. It is herfby ordered by the
Board of Public Works thatall water when not in actual use shall be turned off and not
-allowed to run. In the event the water is found running in -any department the custodian
of this Build ng has orders to turn same -off.
