Board met in special session at 11:30 A.U. Mr. G. A. Elliott absent.
Ur. H. F. Rost issr Act ing Pres ident,
Mr. Wm. Artingstall Project'Engineer for the United States Housing
corporation with Attorney•'Wm. Crab ill appeared before' the Board and presented -
Plat of UnitedStates 'Hous`ing` Corporat ion SubDiv is ion Drawing `"E" No 11 Project
No. 1535, which was approved by the Board, same' furnished in' compldduce with promise`
referred to in meeting of October 22nd. ,1918.
Specifications for the construct ion of sewers, pavements, curbs and,
sidewalks and gutters by the United States Housing Corporation were filed by Mr. .
Wm. Artingstall, Project•engineer and the same were referred to the City Engineer,
to be reported on at 10:00 A M. Monday November llth.,1918..

I am enclosing ° herewith °five •blue -prints of the United States Housing
Corporation Sub -Div -is ion for filing and recording with your Honorable body. This is
to take the place of the plat 'filed with you under date of October 22nd. ,1918
You will note that Douglas .Street has been widened to sixty (60):_fe*t
in accordance with your letter of the 22nd. ultimo and the convection made by Mr.
Weinriether at our meeting on the 23rd.,
As soon as your honorable body has vacat4d the streets and alleys within
the tract will you kindly advise me so that the U. S. Housing Corporation can be
informed. We would also like to se certified copy of the minutes of the meeting
at which this is done.

The following vacation resolution adopted, and the Board ordered
that Vacation Resolution No. 45, adopted -VQtohtrr23rd.,1918 be and is hereby rescinded.
VACATION RESOLUTION No. 47.1918.
Resolved by the Boad of Public Works of the City of South. Bend,
Ind Tana That it is desirable te' vacate the following: The ;First Alley south of Dubail
Avenue from the First alley west of Kemble Avenue to Bruce Street lying between lots 10
& 11, 18 & 199 24 & 25 LiddesdalQ Addition. Also the north and south alley from Prairie
Avenue to Oliver Street lying east of lots 35 and45 Liddesdale Addition. Also the 1st.
alley north of Oliver Street.from Bruce Street to Webster.Street lying south of lots 32,
35, 37, 38 and 39 Liddesdale Add it ion. Also the 1st. alley east of . Bruce Street from
Dubail Avenue to Oliver Street lying east at 29tse22,23,24,25,26,27, and.28 Liddesdale
Addition.' Also Bruce Street from Prairie Avenue to Oliver Street as platted in Liddesdale
Addition.
The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected
by such vacation: Lots 10,11,15;i6,17,18,19,,30,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,
33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44, and 45 Liddesdale Addition.
Notice or this resolution shall be published on the 9th., day ;of
November 1918 and on the 16th. , day of November 1918 in the South Bend Daily Tribune.
This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 27th. , day . of
November 1918 at 7:15 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons, inter-
tsteededn it affected by these proceedings.
