agreed to pay the cost of the -City Street Department, if the Board would let him Oiw

upon by the Board and the -contractor. The Board instructed the Street Commissioner
to employ the mecessary -help to,do such work. The Board ordered the Contractor to
stay on this job and to take no other job until the sewer repair on East La Salle
Avenue is finished.
The Board ordered that the Indiana & Michig#n Electric Cmpany
be notified to place an 80 'C. P. at 610 Jefferson Place.
The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the Welshach Street .LightiAS
Company of Chicago, to remove gas light pole at the southeast cobner of Mishawaka'
Avenue and Greenlawn Avenue, as the same is in the way of switching of freight _cars.
Mr. -Wm. Artingstall appeared before the Board and presented Drawing
"E" --3 of combined sewer profile of * Webster Street of the United States Housing
Corporation project Ho.,1535 which was approved and returned, one copy to remain on
file in the office of the City Engineer.
The following salaries and payroll were presented to the Board and
spproved.
