Board met in pec'ia,l session at 10: 00 A.M. All members of the Board
present, Mayor F. R. Carson and City Engineer F. J. Anderson present.
A W. White, of the White Construction Company appeared• before the
Board and requested that his company be granted the use of the City Large steam roller
on the Portage Avenue paving' c ontrket.
The Board ordered; tit the C ity Steam rollexF'is to be transferred to the
Portage Avenue pavement improvement for the use of the White Construction Company
on said- improvement, on t-he' terms that the White Centruction Company_ will return to the
City at anytime ghat the Board requests said roller, also the White Construction
Company. is -to' furnish Engineer to run roller and supply coal and tA.jpay the City
a reasona'&le rental for same,
The Board granted Geo. Hoffman permission to move his steam shove",
from the Miami Street Grading contract to the Portage Avenue pavement improvement
and to leave Miami Street under contract in a safe condition, and as soon as the work
is completed in Portage Avenue to -remove same back to Mi ami Street and complete that
Work as soon as possible, and if an extension of time is necessary to complete. same,
this will be granted by the Board.
