289 <br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.N. All members pr esent. <br />Mr. Smith of the School City appeared before the Beard and requested <br />permission to construct a sewer -in alley waa:t north of Washington Avenue from Taylor <br />Street to High School. The Board agreed. to .go out and investigate same... o <br />Mr. Geo. M. Urey, Sexton of the City Cemetery met with the Board <br />and requested permission to order vaults for cement , same to be paid for in January <br />1919. Same granted, <br />The Beard ordered that the City Engineer that the City Engineer <br />should have alley filled in on Corporaon porperty in River Park, which runs east <br />of Eleventh Street between Lots No-s 77,78979 and 80 in Sub -Division "C", and use check <br />of Twa hundred and fifty ($250. 00)Bollars in the name of Jp W. Vernon, for the payment <br />of same. <br />The Board ordered that the salary of Pat Goodaur of the Garbage Dept., <br />be increased 50 cents per day, or from $3.00 per day to $3.50 per day. <br />Communication received from the 'United States Fuel Adminstration <br />oil Division in: regard to Bl --ine Avenue pavement, same read and placed on file. <br />pet it ion s from resident property owners on Indiana Avenue between <br />Carroll and Fellows Street remonstrating against the tearing up of the Indiana Avenue <br />pavement for the purpose of connection for a sewer for he use of residents of Columbia <br />Street. Said petition read and placed on file. <br />Communication received read and plaedd on file from E. H. Potter <br />Oaxt Agent of the New York Central Ry. Co. with circular No. 44 of . Director General <br />W. G.
