Board met in special session at 1:30 P.M. All members present
Mr. L. P. Hardy, Chairman of Sub -Committee of County Council of
Defense with Mr. Henderson McClellan appeared before the Board and requesting the
Board td have all streets entering the City most liable to have truck traffic
with surrounding towns put in good condition. The Board advised Mr. Hardy, that
they would,make a report on the condition of each street entering the City or
eonnectIng.up County roads and also prepare a map of same and submit the same to
their committee. The following streets to be reported on. Michigan Street
(Dixie Highway) Lincoln Way West, Division Street, Prairie Avenue. Nile-s Avenue
(Dixie Highway) South Bend Avenue. Mishawaka Avenue, Lincoln Way East,
Monday June 17th.,1918.
Board met in special session at 7:30 P.M. All members present.
Rountine business only was transacted.-
