Walter Mussas l appeared before the Board -and asked that Blaine Avenue pavement improvement be stopped .at Vassar Avenue and not to run any further north. This matter taken .under advise-ment by the Board. Petition f filed at are lights -at the corner of Phillips and Dunham Streets and at the corner of Carlisle and Huron Streets. We purpose $re furnish and install all heating duct and registers for C ounc it Chamber according to plans prepared by Building Department; Duet to be made of �4 guage galvanized Toucan metal, joints seamed and soldered, and duct braced where necessary for the sum of One Hundred and thirty two dollars. " You are hereby no of ied that there will be a meeting of th Prairie Avenue Land Company at the office of ° its President Dan Pyle,, -Suite 624 Farmers Trust Building in the City of South Bend, Indiana•, at eight o'clock on Friday evening,. ,Feb. 15,1918, for the purpose of passing a resolution to appro- priate ten to twenty Feet off of and from the property of said corporation that abuts along and upon Ewing Avenue in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, upon the condition that said property herein donated shall be accepted and used by the City of ,South Bend for the purpose of widening Ewing ]41-venur sufficiently to make it a part of the boulevard system of said City. All stockholders of the corporation were present either in person or by proxy. The meeting wascalled to order by the President and the purpose -of the meeting by him stated as in the notice sent to each of the stockholders in said corporation. Otherwise the property by this resolution given and donated shall bevert and remain the property of the Prairie Avenue Land Company, its successors and assigns: This motion was ec onded by Noah Lehman. After discussion the motion was put And carried by the unanimous vote of all stockholders,either p-rsonally or by proxy.
