/ Board met in special session at 9: 00 A.M. All members present.
The City Engineer filed with the Beard tabulat-tons of bide received
and read at 10:00 A. im_ April 2nd.,1918 on pavement improvements -on J efferson Blvd. from
E. line of Michigan Street to, -Went line of Bridge, over the St. Joseph River and Pavement
improvement on Bla ine- Avenue from La Porte Avenue to Lincoln Way West. The Board after
duly cops ides ingg same made the following preliminary orders designating kind of
pavement. . a
Concerning the improvement of the roadwayof Jefferson Boulevard from
East lime of Michigan Street to west line of Bridge over the St. Joseph River with
Creosoted Wooden Block , Sheet Asphalt, Bridkcof Bitulithic, in pursuance to resolution
No. 564. Tuesday A -,r it 2rd . , 1918 being the day for receiving and opening b ids, the
Board at 10:00 otaieck A.Y. on the above date publicly opened and read and considered
all bids and deferred the making of said preliminary order until -this 3rd . , da of Aor it

And thereupon the Board designated Sheet Asphalt as this kind of
pavement with which said street is to be improved and fixes the 15th., day of April 1918
as the time when petitions must be filed, and the Board hereby c oathues this matter
until the 16th. , day of April 1918 at 10: 00 A.Y. on the above named , -the Board will
either pass on petit ions -let .said contractor reject all bids

,pavement with which said street is to be improved and fixes the 15th. , day of April 1918

until the 16th. , day of April 1918 at 10: 00 A.H. On the above named, the Board will either
pass on petitions,, let said contract or reject all bide.
