Hearing given on assessment roll and final estimate for Grading of Portage Avenue from Keller Street to North 'City Limits, under Improvement Resolution No. 536. In the City of _South Bend, Indiana In the above matter remonstrators appearedry but no written remon- strance was f iled..The Board after due cons iderat ion decided to defer the eonf irmat ion and approval of said assessment roll until Tuesday February 12th.,1918 at 10:00 A.Y. _ The Board instructed the clerk to notify lac. Goo. Harrop of the National Company, Contractors on Portage Avenue Trunk sewer, and Mr. H. N. Barnes, Contractor on Grading of Portage Avenue to appear before the 'Hoard Tuesday February 12th. 1918 at 10: 00 A.M. The Following resolution was approved by the Board. R E S 0 L U T I0N Resolved by the Board, #fit the Studebaker C%rp©rat ion of America, be granted permission to cross Tutt Street at the intersection of the Studebaker Railway for the -purpose of laying a- pipe tunnel across said street.- This street `to be closed temporarily For a period of Five (5) days if necessary.
