Johxsen appeared before the Board and objected to the Board approv&ag of the.MeHenry -Baker Platt, which is before the Beard for their approval at this time. The Board deferred their action on said plat until luesday December 18th.,1917 at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Gee. M Urey, City Cemetery Sexton of the City Cemetery met with the Board and explained about.outstanding accounts in the City Cemetery. The Board instructed Mr. Urey to send letters to persons having large outstanding accounts and urge.them to make a settlement of same before the lat. af;the year. It was resolved by the Board that the salary of 1kn Mr. Edward Moritz Caretaker d River Park 'Gas. lights be increased from 32.50 per month to 50.00 per month, same to start from December let., 1917. Resolved by the Board that as :Christmas Day and New Year's day_fell on Tuesdays that the regular session scheduled for Tuesday should be held on the fallowing Wednesday in each week. Engineer filed assessment roll' and final estimate for pipe sewers on Chapin, Garet and Kendall Streets from Prairie Avenue to Indiana Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 524. In the City at South Bend, Indiana. The Board of Park Commissioners requested that the following lights be turned on at the, following skating rinks and slides. Same was ordered by the Beard. 1. arc light at Coquillard Park. 1 Arc light at Studebaker Park Playground. Row of lights around Tennis Court at Howard Park. 2 are lights at Leeper Park Plsyground. Replace the present light at Rum village Hill and install a `light at the Foreman's House at South end of slide. 2 arc lights Pettawatomie.Park Playground.
